A versatile tenor and alto sax player, playing jazz,blues,soul, bossa nova, funk, reggae, pops and club music. With his natural ear for music he can jam to just about anything.
  A rich tenor voice allows him to sing a wide variety of styles, his voice especially ideal for soul, jazz and pops. He sings and plays sax currently in smooth Jazz group “ Sugar” and his party funk band “The Conductors” . He has also sung on various tvcms over his years in Tokyo.
One of the few singer/sax players in town, as frontman and band leader ,when on stage likes to connect with his band and audience so everyone has a great time. From BGM mood music in a restaurant to funky dance music at a big event, he knows how to be professional, entertain, and make the night a success.

He started playing the sax at eight years old, growing up near London, and started writing songs and lyrics from 13 years old. He has recently released his CD `EXOTIKA` featuring a wide selection of moods and genres and performs the songs regularly.
Based in Tokyo for 14 years now, the city still excites and inspires him in his many projects.        

Also an enthusiastic traveller, he loves to explore countries always with an instrument on his back, writing songs as he goes. And has played in many cities including  New Orleans,Memphis,Bangkok,London,Budapest,Istanbul and Bucharest to name a few.

Marcus plays around the city mainly in bars,restaurants, hotels and at events.

テナー、アルトサックスプレイヤー。ジャズ、ブルース、ソウル、ファンク、レゲエ、ポップス、ボサノバ、クラブミュージックなど多岐に渡る。彼の生まれ持った類い稀な耳を持ってすればいかなる音楽も即興で奏でることができる。
　彼の変化に富んだテナーはソウル、ジャズ、ポップスを始めとする幅広い歌声を可能とする。現在はスムーズジャズグループ「シュガー」、そしてパーティーファンクバンド「コンダクターズ」で彼の歌声やプレイを聴くことができる。また、東京にて、テレビCMでその歌声を披露したことでも知られる。
　東京では数少ない歌手兼サックスプレイヤーであり、また、フロントマンとして、バンドのリーダーとして、観客を常に魅了し、観客との一体感を好み、そこにいる全ての者を同じ空間へと誘う。時にはレストランで心地よい音楽を奏で、そしてまた時には、大きなイベントにて、ファンキーなダンスミュージックを提供するなど、プロフェッショナルとして、エンターテナーとしてのあり方を知り尽くし、その夜に色を添える。
　彼はロンドンで育ち、８歳でサックスを始め、１３歳になった頃には既に作詞作曲を自らこなした。東京を拠点として１4年、今もなお、この街の熱狂とひらめきは彼を大きく飛躍させる。
　また彼は、熱狂的な旅人で、楽器一つでいろんな国を冒険することを好む。行く先々で彼の曲が生まれ、また、いくつものステージをこなしてきた。ニューオリンズ、メンフィス、バンコク、ロンドン、ブダベスト、イスタンブール、ブカレストなどなど。今後はこれまで書き溜めたオリジナル曲の活動に重点を移し、近いうちにリリースすることを計画している。
　バー、レストラン、イベントを中心に、演奏し、街を巡る。
